ABOUT THE ROLE Act as a subject matter expert and lead the implementation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics solutions, focusing on supply chain management and warehousing modules.
Analyze business requirements, identify opportunities for system enhancements, and make recommendations for best practices within the realm of supply chain and warehousing operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and external partners, to map business processes and define system requirements.
Lead workshops and training sessions to educate end users on the functionalities and capabilities of MS Dynamics, ensuring smooth adoption and usage.
Configure and customize MS Dynamics to meet specific business needs, including but not limited to inventory management, order fulfillment, demand planning, and logistics.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues, ensuring the integrity of supply chain and warehousing operations within the MS Dynamics environment.
Spearhead system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate that the solution aligns with business goals and delivers the expected outcomes.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to end users, addressing inquiries and concerns related to MS Dynamics functionalities within the supply chain and warehousing scope.
Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and updates within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem to provide informed recommendations for system improvements.
Six month contract with view to extend and is fully remote ABOUT YOU Proven experience (6-10 years) in implementing and supporting MS Dynamics solutions, specifically in the area of supply chain management and warehousing, within the retail industry.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, order management, and distribution, as well as warehouse operations and best practices.
Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics modules such as Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, and related third-party integrations.
Solid understanding of business processes and workflows, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system configurations.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage stakeholders, and drive deliverables within established timelines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
