Your responsibilities will include:
We are seeking a Defence Logistics Specialist to provide ongoing support to our Royal Australian Navy customers.
You will be required to take and process orders from customers and representatives as well as provide order details and status updates.
You will act as a liaison between the customer and warehouse while processing and adjusting the database for returned goods.
Your responsibilities and duties will include (but are not limited to):
Assisting with Defence Logistics Governance and MILIS requirements.
Assisting with the management of Urgent Defects through the Navy High Priority Demand Systems.
Expediting emergency orders upon customer requests.
Assisting with the management of the 24-hour help desk to meet customer requirements.
Maintaining knowledge of company products and customer service processes.
About you:
To see you succeed in this role, you will have:
Experience in data management including the ability to produce, analyze, and interpret complex reports and information.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take immediate corrective action as required.
A passion for exceptional customer service and an understanding of the importance of building strong relationships.
Experience working within the Military or with a Defence contractor.
An understanding of Defence corporate governance (highly desirable).
Experience with Defence inventory programs such as MILIS or SAP (highly desirable).
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance, and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
