Security Clearance Required for this role:
Must have a Current NV1 security clearance.Must be an Australian Citizen.This will be an Office based role in Canberra.This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a team Project and ensure the security of critical data and systems as they migrate to the cloud.
This is a pivotal role where your expertise will help safeguard sensitive information while adhering to government cybersecurity standards.
Key Responsibilities:Assess security risks and vulnerabilities, particularly during the cloud migration process.Implement robust security protocols to protect data and ensure compliance with Department policies.Collaborate with the development team to integrate security measures into the system architecture.Conduct regular security audits, providing actionable recommendations for system improvement.Assist in security incident responses and ensure the system meets all regulatory and cybersecurity compliance requirements.Skills and Qualifications:Proven background in cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in cloud security.Expertise in security assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies.Knowledge of government cybersecurity standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001).Ability to collaborate effectively with IT and business teams to align security objectives with project goals.Strong experience in vulnerability assessments, threat management, and incident response. #J-18808-Ljbffr
