Our client , a prestigious university based in Perth, is seeking a passionate and experienced Cybersecurity and Identity Management Specialist

You'll play a vital role in enhancing the university's security posture by focusing on several key initiatives:Critical Asset Identification: Support the identification and safeguarding of vital infrastructure. Email Anti-phishing: Strengthen email security by reviewing DMARC, DKIM, and SPF records and collaborating with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Identity and Access Management: Conduct a discovery of password policies and service accounts, and work on an uplift roadmap to improve Privileged Account Management (PAM). Active Directory Hardening: Deploy and run tools like Purple Knight, review findings, and lead remediation efforts. Disaster Recovery (Identity Infrastructure): Test and enhance recovery strategies for Active Directory, with hands-on work using Semperis.
What You'll Do: Facilitate workshops and RACI development to ensure alignment and clarity. Review DfO365 settings, prepare reports, and work with third-party vendors and internal staff to troubleshoot DKIM/DMARC failures. Lead the implementation of DMARC in production environments, moving from quarantine to reject modes in DNS, and follow through with post-implementation reviews and documentation. Develop and implement MFA based on best-practice recommendations, helping the university enhance its Identity and Access Management landscape. Instantiation and configuration of Delinea Secret Server, supporting account and data migrations while providing comprehensive "as built" documentation. Conduct a full Active Directory Recovery Test, including gap analysis and RTO determination.
