Job DescriptionBoart Longyear has been a leading provider of drilling products and services to the global minerals industry for over 130 years. As the industry's only integrated drilling services and products provider, we combine engineering excellence, global manufacturing facilities and the most experienced drilling services group in the business.We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Boart Longyear team in Adelaide. This role will work as part of our Global Cybersecurity Team.Want to know a little more about the role? Day-to-day responsibilities include:Identify and triage security events and related risks.Participate in the Incident Response team.Investigate incidents in a timely manner.Participate in the on-call rotation for security incidents.Monitor security operations center tools and dashboards.Perform threat hunting activities using security operations center tools.Assist with risk analysis activities.Assist with designing and implementing controls to mitigate risk.Stay current on IT security trends and news.Assist with cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives.Other duties as assigned.A few other things we're looking for:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Security or related degree.In-depth knowledge of security monitoring and incident response.In-depth knowledge of risk analysis and risk mitigation strategies.Full understanding of networking technologies and networking protocols with an emphasis on TCP/IP.Understanding of Defense in Depth strategies.Understanding of Security Operations Tools such as SIEM, EPM, DLP, Vulnerability Management, Firewalls, WAFs, Antivirus Solutions, Email Protection Solutions, Incident Response and Threat Management.In-depth knowledge of computer operating systems such as Windows, MacOS and Linux.Understanding of database administration and application development life cycle regarding cybersecurity.Security related certifications such as Microsoft MTA, ISACA CSX, CompTIA Security+, GIAC GISF or ISC2 SSCP or higher-level certifications.Scripting experience such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python.Computer forensics knowledge and experience.Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-53, CIS, ISO270001.Understanding of compliance and data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, POPIA, and others.If you are interested in this role, we invite you to apply now.As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we thank all who apply but will only be contacting those selected for an interview.Respectfully, no recruitment agencies please.FunctionInformation TechnologyAuto req ID15332BRRegion (Business Group)APACCountryAustraliaState/ProvinceSouth AustraliaCityAdelaide
