How you will make an impact Based full time at the front of house on the reception desk in our amazing Sydney office, be the first point of contact for all customers and visitors. As an integral part of the administration and support team, the administration coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring all office operations run smoothly whilst also contributing to a high-functioning and collaborative team.
Day to day you will: Greet all external guests and visitors Maintain the front of house to ensure it is kept tidy – this includes ensuring the front of house meeting rooms are clean and water jugs are filled Answer, screen and forward general enquiries sent to our general mailbox Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges) Act as the fire warden and point of contact for emergencies Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries Provide tea and coffee for customer meetings as needed Book couriers/post mail as needed Assist with office management and the day to day running of the office – maintain stationery and kitchen supplies, keep inventory of stock, budget management Ensure any repairs for the office are booked in with the building management in a timely manner Work with IT, finance and other teams throughout the business as required for various tasks including assisting with new starters onboarding, ensuring invoices are paid on time and more Assist with event management for internal events – weekly morning teas, end of year events and more – help us drive and foster a great office culture Skills & Qualifications Ideally some work experience gained from working in professional services, cyber or technology firm is preferred, with hands-on experience on administration and coordination Highly organised with strong attention to detail and deadlines, and ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities The ability to multi-task and be agile in how you work Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate information into creative solutions to benefit the business Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner Professional and ethical, you inspire trust and confidence through integrity and respect Interested but don't meet every item listed above? Please note this role is an in-person role, where you are required to be in the office on a full-time basis 5 days a week.
