Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to be the first point of contact for a large cyber security program of work.
Your extensive cyber security experience will be pivotal in ensuring quality outcomes by providing guidance to project delivery teams.
This role will give you the opportunity to research, scope, and deliver solutions that align with the latest cyber security thinking and standards, exposing you to cutting-edge technologies.
Your days will be interesting, varied, and challenging as you work closely with all areas of the business to bring together project requirements and ensure gaps and weaknesses in cyber security controls are addressed appropriately.
You will support the Cyber Security Capability Improvement Manager in delivering a broad range of projects aimed at uplifting control maturity and mitigating risks.
What's Needed?
Ensuring security controls are implemented fully while adhering to established cyber security policies and standards.
Ensuring projects remain aligned to the cyber security strategy, changes in the threat landscape, business direction, and legislation.
Collaborating with other work areas to build seamless end-to-end organisational functionality.
Experience in planning and delivery of cyber security projects.
Knowledge of NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF).
Knowledge of related legislation, standards, and best practices.
Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and relationship management skills.
High level of personal responsibility and accountability with a strong focus on results delivery.
