High Level Job DescriptionResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Developing and updating the Security Risk Management Plan (SRMP), System Security Plan (SSP), Incident Response Plan (IRP), Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and other documents required for security accreditation of complex ICT systems.Defining the use of security policies, practices, and standards that govern security functions associated with complex ICT solutions.Leveraging information security experts and technology to support a secure infrastructure, secure applications, and maintain overall data security.Coordinating with internal agencies within Defence to elicit, analyse and finalise security requirements for ICT solutions, including the requirements for meeting ASD Essential Eight and PSPF compliance.Engaging and liaising with the ICT Security Branch (ICTSB) to conduct vulnerability assessments of ICT solutions.Supporting the technical teams in the development and documentation of gap and risk assessments around the architecture and integration of ICT solutions in the Defence environment.Supporting the Solution Architect in the development of Solution Architecture Definition (SAD) and High Level Design (HLD) to meet the environment integration requirements.Supporting the Systems Engineer in the development and update of Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), Test and Evaluation Management Plan (TEMP) and Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM).Supporting the Business/Systems Analyst in the development and documentation of the ICT FPS and Integrated Logistic Support Plan (ILSP) for integration of the solution into the Defence environment.Key SFIA SkillsSkill level equivalent to SFIA Level 5 – Information Security.Ideally 3+ years in the certification & accreditation of complex ICT solutions in government departments and agencies.Ideally 3+ years in security and risk management planning and design for complex ICT solutions in government departments and agencies.IT Background with experience or understanding in ISO 27001.Proven experience in liaising with security vendors, suppliers, service providers and external resources.Skilled and effective communicator, both spoken and written with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-IT audiences.Ability to work in a team environment, participate in project meetings and engage with business and technical stakeholders.Security ClearanceThis role requires applicants to have a minimum NV2 security clearance and a willingness to undergo a TSPV.
