An exciting opportunity exists in the TasNetworks Digital Solutions team for a Cyber Security Operational Technology Specialist .
Located at Lenah Valley in Hobart's Northern Suburbs and reporting to the Leader Cyber Operations, the role will support the design, delivery and operational maintenance of cyber security initiatives and compliance work to deliver a whole-of-business uplift in cyber security capability and maturity against the relevant cyber security benchmarks.
The Cyber Security OT Specialist will increase cyber security awareness, behaviour, and controls in technology environments from strategy and design to business as usual, through influencing, collaborative engagement and providing advice and guidance to OT and IT teams.
They will drive cyber security improvements and risk reduction through the enhancement of controls, processes, and procedures across all aspects of the enterprise.
The role will be accountable for building and maintaining effective relationships within Digital and across the business to educate and create awareness of the cyber security function.
You will provide active support for the successful delivery of the cyber security initiatives in addition to driving cyber security improvements and risk reduction through the end-to-end technology asset lifecycle, with awareness of the organisation's risk and threat profile.
You will collaborate to provide high level strategic and tactical operational advice throughout the wider Digital teams and across the business and support the successful handover and transition to business as usual for new cyber security related standards, processes, procedures and technologies.
About you We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security person with a strong understanding and awareness of cyber security concepts, concerns, controls, and frameworks, especially the AESCSF, but also NIST CSF, CIS Critical Security Controls, ACSC Essential 8.
In addition, you will have experience with, or significant enthusiasm to learn about, industrial control systems, protocols, assets and infrastructure, including systems that are legacy and/or remotely operated – SCADA, EMS, IEDs, Protection and Control.
You will have commercial astuteness and a results driven approach to support your strong experience with enterprise information technology systems and concepts – virtualisation, cloud computing, local- and wide-area networking, enterprise mobility, end-user compute.
You will have demonstrated strong leadership and influencing skills, including the ability to build and leverage strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
You will have a degree in a cyber security, engineering, or information technology discipline or equivalent experience.
Cyber Security exposure is a must.
