The Productivity Commission (PC) is the Australian Government's independent research and advisory body on a range of economic, social and environmental issues affecting the welfare of Australians.
The Digital Technology (DT) team ensures that all aspects of DT can support the continuity of current business operations while delivering new capabilities to support evolving business needs.
The team leads the innovative application of technology to meet the PC's strategic objectives while keeping core systems and information available, accessible, and secure.
Our DT Team is seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Manager to support the work of the PC.
As the Cyber Security Manager, you will be responsible for driving and advancing the PC's cybersecurity work program, strategies and policies.
The role involves managing the security infrastructure and ensuring the protection of the PC's information assets against cyber threats.
Additionally, you will be a member of the DT leadership team, mentoring team members, supporting their development, and contributing to the uplift of team capability.
You will also plan and manage DT projects, including contributing to the development and implementation of DT strategies.
You will provide expert advice to management and staff on cyber security risks and strategies.
We are looking for applications from DT professionals with significant experience in a similar role or industry, with proven success in technology service delivery and/or service operations roles, with relevant qualifications.

This vacancy is for a non-ongoing specified term of up to 2 years.

Position Eligibility Requirements To be eligible for employment with the Productivity Commission, applicants must:
be an Australian citizen or hold an Australian Citizenshipbe willing to undergo a security and character clearance (which may include, but not limited to, completing an identity verification check, police check, and obtaining/maintaining an Australian Government security vetting clearance if required by the role)provide evidence of mandatory qualifications (if applicable).Salary: $161,042 - $180,143 per annum + annual leave loading + 11.5% Super
