Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer

Rate: $700 - $800 p/d

Location: Perth, City Centre

Job Type: Contract, 6 months

Summary:

OUI Recruitment is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer for a government department in Perth, CBD. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of Cyber Security Engineers, contributing to the continuous support and enhancement of firewall systems. The main focus of this position is to create and enforce rules on the firewalls within the organisation, and will only have an inward focus (no internet-facing solutions).

Requirements:

Previous experience working with Check Point firewalls and Administration (SmartConsole).
Knowledge of Gaia Clish Commands.
Ability to configure and fine-tune firewall policies, prioritizing stringent security measures while optimizing network performance.
Demonstrated experience in managing extensive multi-site, multi-firewall setups.
Experience collaborating with stakeholders.
Prior exposure to Check Point Multi-Domain Management.
Previous engagement within government departments is advantageous.
