This is a permanent opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer (Junior - Mid) to work closely with the Senior Cyber Security Engineer.

The Cyber Security Engineer will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented, with experience in foundational and emerging cyber security technologies in business environments.

Role Responsibilities Jointly analyze IT specifications to assess security risks and act on privacy breaches and malware threats.
Work with foundational & emerging cyber security technologies.
Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities.
Monitor all applications, whitelisting, and logs.
Monitor compliance with security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Assess potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerability in the network and on information technology infrastructure and applications.
Review risk assessments, analyze the effectiveness of information security control activities, and report on them with actionable recommendations.
Respond to and resolve tickets within agreed Service Level Agreements.
Provide the first point of contact for all security-related issues for our clients.
Your Key Attributes & Experience Needed At least 2+ years of experience in a Cyber Security related role (This is a junior - mid-level role).
Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining SIEM tools such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, and vulnerability management tools such as Tenable and Nessus (DESIRABLE).
Strong technical security knowledge.
Strong Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word, Power Point, and any other relevant tools within reason.
Knowledge/experience in Microsoft 365, Azure Security Centre, Azure, and relevant security best practices on these platforms.
