Rubix Solutions is representing a leading defence consultancy, offering multiple opportunities for experienced Cyber Security - Certification & Accreditation Specialists. These roles are vital to supporting critical projects within the Department of Defence.

As a Cyber Security - Certification & Accreditation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of mobile ICT systems within complex defence environments. You will leverage your expertise in cyber security and accreditation processes to assess, review, and enhance the security posture of mobile ICT systems, supporting the mission-critical operations of the Department of Defence.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments of mobile ICT systems, including the preparation of accreditation documentation and reports. Review and provide feedback on accreditation documentation, recommending remediation activities to improve the security posture of mobile ICT systems. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant information security standards, including the Australian Cyber Security Centre's Essential Eight, Australian Information Security Manual, and other applicable frameworks. Utilize your expertise in cyber security to assess and mitigate risks associated with mobile ICT systems, implementing appropriate controls and safeguards. Provide technical assurance and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to cyber security best practices and standards. Demonstrate proficiency in mobile device management systems such as MobileIron, providing support and expertise as needed. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on accreditation activities and addressing any concerns or issues. Maintain a high level of familiarity with Department of Defence security accreditation processes and requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security requirements and develop strategies to address them. Stay abreast of emerging cyber security threats and trends, recommending proactive measures to enhance the security posture of mobile ICT systems. Requirements: 5 + years experience in Cyber Security/IT Security Existing NV1 security clearance or above ICT Security aligned Degree or Masters in Cyber Security CEH, CISM, CompTIA, Security+, CISA certifications Desirable Experience with ICT accreditation processes, including the preparation of, ability to review, provide feedback and recommend remediation activities to undertake to improve security posture of mobile ICT systems. Experience working with the Australian Cyber Security Centre's Essential Eight, Australian Information Security Manual and other relevant information security standards (e.g. NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO Preferred experience within the Department of Defence security accreditation processes. 27001) Proven experience working in complex defence IT environments Preferred experience with mobile device management systems (MobileIron, etc). communication and stakeholder management skills Security and Technical Assurance expertise
