12 + 12 + 12 month contractsCanberra Brindabella Park, some WFHMust have Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1)Our client, a mid-sized and well-funded security-focused Federal Government entity, is seeking a Cyber Security Assessor.
Responsibilities: Developing security compliance processes and assessing the effectiveness of security controls.Performing security reviews and identifying gaps in security architecture, resulting in recommendations for inclusion in the risk management strategy.Participating in Risk Governance processes to provide security risk mitigations and input on other technical risks.Verifying that application software and network system security postures are implemented as stated, documenting deviations, and recommending required corrections.Criteria: Demonstrated understanding of current industry methods for evaluating, implementing, and disseminating information technology (IT) security assessment, monitoring, detection, and remediation tools and procedures utilizing standards-based concepts and capabilities.Experience in the development of security compliance processes and/or audits of external services.Experience in performing security reviews and identifying security gaps in security architecture, resulting in recommendations for inclusion in the risk management strategy.Experience in assessing the effectiveness of security controls.To apply for this interesting and long Cyber Security Assessor contract opportunity, please apply or call Matt on (02) 6299 1006.
