Join our dynamic team as a Cyber Security Analyst (Networks), where you'll play a crucial role in protecting our organisation from emerging cyber threats.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company's network assets are appropriately configured, securely maintained, and thoroughly documented. This role is critical to safeguarding Santos' digital infrastructure, ensuring that our network environment is resilient against potential threats and vulnerabilities.Key responsibilities will include:Oversee the patch management process for all network devices ensuring devices are appropriately maintained and supported.Perform regular review and reporting activities to ensure network assets are configured and maintained in line with Santos' network hardening and configuration standards and industry best practices.Ensure all network assets are appropriately documented, including maintaining artifacts such as per-site and inter-site connectivity diagrams.Ensure all Network assets are reporting to Santos' Network monitoring systems and SIEM.Provide support for any internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and evidence of compliance with security standards.Provide cybersecurity inputs and guidance on proposed network changes to ensure they align to Santos' standards and industry best practices.Provide oversight of new and existing firewall rulesets to ensure they meet business need and cybersecurity objectives.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have the following key skills and experience:Experience as a Network Administrator, Architect, or EngineerExposure developing and implementing security and network architecture frameworks and designs to support the successful delivery of programs, projects, and investmentsKnowledge of designing, developing, and supporting security and network infrastructure architectures and solutions, including firewalls, web application firewalls, remote access, switch, route and the development of network security policiesExperience in scripting with languages such as Python and PowerShell would be advantageousUnderstanding of common switching and routing protocols and conceptsUnderstanding of network hardening concepts such as network access controlIdeally, you are Degree Qualified or Equivalent Tertiary and/or relevant work/industry experience in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Security, with a minimum Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification.Supporting a Diverse WorkforceSantos acknowledges that we operate on the traditional lands of Aboriginal people.
