Join the Civmec Team Civmec is currently seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing IT and Cyber Security Department.
Reporting to the Cyber Security Manager, you will have an internal business focus on monitoring, and improving detection of security events across the organisation.
This will be a full-time position based in our corporate offices in Henderson.
The Role Monitor and analyse security event logs.
Identify and respond to security incidents.
Develop, operate, and automate threat-hunting and triage playbooks.
Remain apprised of vulnerabilities and threats that potentially impact Civmec's operating environment.
Support independent audits of cyber security controls and process.
Collaborate with IT teams for incident resolution.
Perform root cause analysis of security incidents.
Generate security incident reports, including evidence collection and handling.
Responsible for detecting and responding to security threats, investigative analysis, and research on existing and emerging cyber threats, particularly those directed against Civmec's networks About You To be successful in the role you will possess the following:   Must be able to meet the AGSVA eligibility requirements for NV1 clearance.
3 Years' experience in a complex IT infrastructure environment monitoring security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
Network security principles and protocols, SIEM tools, log analysis, incident investigation, cyber threat and vulnerability knowledge, security monitoring tools, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication and documentation abilities, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS).
