Cyber Security Analyst

On the back of an excellent financial year where we have grown into new markets and customers, we recently achieved number 22 on the Australian Financial Reviews Fast 100 List and the growth is continuing upwards.We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join us in supporting a federal government client with managing cyber security tools and processes. You will play a key role in improving the cyber security maturity and ongoing enhancement to cyber detection and response capabilities. This role can be considered on either a contract or permanent engagement.Responsibilities:Utilising Tenable One and Nessus to conduct vulnerability assessments, mitigate threats and remediate vulnerabilities.Develop and improve Splunk Dashboards for reporting.Improving security maturity against Essential 8 and provide gap assessments.Actively monitor systems to respond and investigate cyber security incidents.Implement cyber security policies against ISM/PSPF frameworks.Key Skills/Attributes:3-5 years minimum in a hands-on cyber security role within government.Experience in Tenable, Splunk and Microsoft cloud security.Developing and implementing security orchestration and automation.Australian Citizenship and a minimum Baseline clearance required for this role due to it being within the Australian Government.If you are interested, then we encourage you to apply!
