Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities: Monitor and Analyze Security Alerts: Utilize a variety of tools to keep a vigilant eye on security alerts, ensuring swift identification and response to potential threats.Vulnerability Assessment: Identify vulnerabilities within our systems and recommend actionable strategies to mitigate security risks effectively.Incident Response: Assist in the investigation of security breaches, taking immediate action to contain and mitigate threats, ensuring our systems remain secure.Policy Development: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with industry standards and regulations.Compliance Assurance: Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks.Security Tools Implementation: Leverage and fine-tune security tools and processes, staying updated on the latest technologies and trends in cybersecurity.Education and Training: Help develop security awareness training across our LeavePlus team while fostering a culture of security across our organisation. Build and launch effective content educating our internal team about risks and policy updates across the evolving cyber security landscape.Reporting and Documentation: Create detailed security reports for our team and regulatory bodies, maintaining comprehensive documentation for security incidents and compliance requirements.Desired Skills and ExperienceKey Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response.Knowledge of security policies, compliance standards, and risk management.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for continuous learning.Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
