About the Organisation: As a federal government agency, this department manages Australia's international relations, promotes trade, offers consular support, and negotiates agreements. Mandatory Requirements: Must hold an ACTIVE NV1 Selection Criteria Response SFIA Skills Level: Category: Development and Implementation Subcategory: Content Management Skills: Knowledge Management KNOW Level: 6   Category : Strategy and architecture Subcategory: Advice and Guidance Skills : Specialist advice TECH Level : 6   Position Overview: The organisation is currently in search of a proficient and dynamic Cyber Policy and Training Officer to become a part of their team. The selected candidate will hold the responsibility for formulating and executing ICT-related policies, conducting cyber training sessions, and participating in diverse outreach endeavours. If the applicant possesses a fervent interest in cybersecurity, policy formulation, and training provision, coupled with outstanding communication abilities and stakeholder engagement expertise, their application is encouraged.   Key Responsibilities: Craft and review ICT Cyber Policies, ensuring compliance and effectiveness. Develop engaging Cyber Training & Outreach materials tailored to diverse audiences. Conduct Cyber Training sessions, facilitating knowledge transfer and skill development. Participate in Cyber Security Briefings, providing insights on emerging threats. Actively engage with stakeholders to promote awareness of cyber policies and training initiatives. Attend and contribute to meetings, providing expertise on cyber policy matters and training strategies. Make informed decisions and communicate effectively to influence decision-making processes. Essential: Experience in creating and reviewing ICT Cyber Policies with attention to detail. Ability to develop clear and impactful Cyber Training & Outreach material. Proven track record in conducting engaging Cyber Training sessions. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Desirable: Previous experience in policy writing within a relevant context.
