This organisation is at the forefront of advancing Australia's international security interests in the Indo-Pacific, with a specific focus on building cyber resilience and enhancing capacity in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.Through a flagship Cyber and Critical Tech Cooperation Program, the team is responsible for delivering high-impact initiatives that address cyber security and critical technology issues, supporting regional partners to navigate the evolving digital landscape.The OpportunityThree Cyber Cooperation Project Officers are sought to join the Cyber Affairs and Critical Technology Branch's (CYB) Southeast Asia and Pacific Cyber Cooperation Sections. This is an ideal role for motivated individuals with an interest in cyber policy, capacity building, and international engagement. You'll contribute to key programs that uplift cyber security capabilities in the Indo-Pacific, working closely with diverse partners to support Australia's regional cyber and technology priorities.These positions offer opportunities for growth, skills development, and hands-on experience in the areas of program management and policy coordination.The RoleAs a Cyber Cooperation Project Officer, you will play an essential role in supporting cyber and technology resilience programs in the region. Key duties include:Supporting capacity-building activities that enhance cyber and technology resilience in Southeast Asia and the PacificDeveloping and maintaining relationships with delivery partners, including government agencies, private sector organisations, and partner countriesPreparing project and procurement documents, such as grant agreements, funding approvals, and contractsAssisting in the coordination of policy briefs and public diplomacy efforts, and providing secretariat support for official delegations as requiredThe Ideal PersonWe are looking for candidates who are proactive, organised, and able to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
