The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0 .
This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

White Card Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred Solid experience of project site management capability and working to deadlines and in a contracting environment.
Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Required Competencies: Knowledge of operating procedures and ways of working.
In-depth understanding of project planning and management in construction industry Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
Good listening skills and relationship building skills Good problem-solving skills Ability to analyse situations quickly and objectively and determine the proper course of action Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignment Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively and independently with a positive high energy attitude Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Support Site Engineers and Project Managers in all aspects of operations and job fulfillment Identify opportunities for improvement at site and in daily operation Works collaboratively with other trade surveyors to gather quantities, measurements, information, as needed and directed Supervise Site Installations Keep accurate, organized and complete field notes Communicate with Site Engineers and staff on daily basis Ensure that crews comply daily with FGJV and client specific safety guidelines and provide required safety documentation and records Review meetings to monitor progress of various projects Regularly perform field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety/logistics plans Ensures proper paperwork has been submitted Supervises team including utility workers, facility operators, and contractors.
Maintains databases which track and support operations Partners closely with the area engineering department to ensure construction projects within the area of responsibility meet company specifications and are properly documented and completed in accordance with established timelines Maintains close surveillance over site operations while performing company work to ensure proper use of manpower, skills, equipment and facilities The above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.
