Job Opportunity: Mechanical Contract Manager
Location: North Wales
Are you an experienced Mechanical Contract Manager looking to advance your career with a leading M&E contractor in North Wales? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable company that delivers high-quality mechanical and electrical services across multiple sectors, including commercial, industrial, and domestic. With a strong portfolio of clients, including local authorities, universities, schools, and blue-chip organisations, they are now looking for a skilled Mechanical Contract Manager to join their expanding team.
Role Overview: As a Mechanical Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical projects, from initial planning to completion. You will work on a variety of projects ranging from £100k to £2m, managing key client relationships and leading a team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee mechanical contracts, managing schedules, resources, and project deliverables. Coordinate with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project costs and budgets to ensure financial control. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Lead and motivate a team of engineers and site staff, promoting a positive and results-driven work environment. The ideal candidate: Proven experience as a Mechanical Contract Manager within the M&E sector (will also consider a Mechanical Project Manager looking to take a step up). Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems including pipework and heating systems. Black CSCS / SMSTS. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Full UK driving licence. You will get: £50,000 - £60,000 Salary. Vehicle allowance. 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). Opportunity to progress. Process: Apply for the job.
