What about the role? We're always interested in talking to people who are passionate about supply chain and all that it encompasses. This position is based in Melbourne (Ravenhall), with a 3/2 hybrid option available, you will have access to onsite parking, as well as an opportunity for mentorship by industry leading, senior Customs Brokers. For this particular role, ideally you will have some exposure to the following:
Leading a teamBeing an active, licensed Customs Broker in a similar environmentCargoWise One and ICSCurrent AEP accreditationOperating in a paperless environmentCustoms tariffsProactively communicating with internal and external stakeholdersWorking in a collaborative environmentWhat will you do each day? Each day can be a little different in a Supply Chain environment. You might find yourself engaging in the following activities:
Lodgement of Import Declarations for a large variety of products and customers.Handling complex Valuations and ClassificationsApplying for tariff concessions including preparing refund/duty drawbacksEnsuring compliance with ABF, DAWR and other government agenciesLiaising with and supporting internal stakeholders to ensure an exceptional customer experienceRepresenting clients in meetings with customs officialsApplying for duty refunds and tariff reclassificationsInterested?
