Customs Broker - Newly Licenced

An Australian owned and operated freight forwarder located in Southern suburbs of Sydney, is seeking a newly licensed Customs Broker with up to 1-2 years experience to join their team and be responsible for end-to-end Customs and Biosecurity processing, utilising a broad range of skills in Customs Brokerage.

Duties & Responsibilities: Knowledge in entry preparation, classifying and compiling Checking and lodging entries Processing EFT payments Applying for tariff concessions Preparing refund/duty drawbacks Customs Tariff and Valuation Free Trade Agreements Role Requirements: Current ABF license including DAWR accreditation Cargowise experience High degree of numeracy, literacy and analytical skills Adaptable, ethical and hands-on approach Ability to effectively interact and network with internal/external stakeholders to facilitate professional movement of all shipments First-class communication skills - written and verbal Ability to prioritise and time-manage Attention to detail The ideal applicant would be someone who has demonstrated longevity with previous employment and looking to work for an organisation that rewards commitment and dedication with a competitive salary and excellent working conditions.
