Customer Tasting Hub Facilitator Contract: 12 months
Rate: £12.66 per hour
Hours: 37.5
Schedule: Mon - Fri & every 3rd Saturday with a day off in the week (Holiday cover/any absence)
Location: In-store, Tesco Perth, Crieff Road, Scotland
We are looking for someone who has previously worked in the food industry, has the ability to cook basic products via back of pack instructions, and enjoys engaging with customers.
You'll be welcoming customers and engaging in taste tests with them while adhering to strict Health and Hygiene policies and working within a small team.
Full training for this role will be provided.
Skills: Friendly, engaging, and happy to talk to people and welcome them into the hubAble to hold conversations and interact with customersExcellent customer approachPrevious experience in a customer engagement environment is necessaryPreviously worked in the food industryIT skills are an advantage (for tracking info and results)Full training will be provided, including a food hygiene courseWhat you do: Recruit shoppers from the store shop floor and invite them to take part in blind tastingsPrepare the food for the tasting, ensuring that safe and legal protocols are adhered to at all timesWork within a team of people either in-store or in mobile locations to conduct untrained customer panels on various productsRecruit customers, use questionnaires, and ask questions face-to-face to gather responses on the performance of various productsWork methodically to follow methods & routines & use the correct tools to handle, prepare & cook both raw & cooked products for presentation to customersWork to achieve team targets & deliver department workload by contributing equally & supporting colleaguesRecord & present data accurately on databases & spreadsheetsAttend planned training days & achieve the required pass score to ensure skills & knowledge are maintainedSupport the Quality Team by conducting other ad-hoc customer testing when requestedFollow our Business Code of Conduct and always act with integrity and due diligenceIf you feel this position would be of interest, APPLY NOW using your most up-to-date CV.
