### Job Description:

Insurance Australia Group (IAG) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Sydney. This part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and resolving client inquiries efficiently. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and contributing to the success of our organization.

### Responsibilities:

- **Customer Interaction:** Provide high-quality support to customers via various channels including phone, email, and live chat. Address inquiries related to insurance policies, claims processes, and general company information.

- **Problem Solving:** Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly while ensuring that company policies and standards are upheld.

- **Product Knowledge:** Maintain an up-to-date understanding of company products, policies, and procedures to effectively inform customers and guide them in their decision-making process.

- **Documentation:** Accurately document customer interactions, feedback, and suggestions in the system to improve service delivery. Ensure all records comply with legal and insurance regulations.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other team members and departments to provide a seamless customer experience. Foster a cooperative environment that encourages sharing best practices and insights.

- **Performance Metrics:** Meet or exceed established KPIs related to customer satisfaction, response times, and resolution rates. Continuously seek ways to enhance service quality.

- **Training and Development:** Participate in ongoing training sessions to upgrade skills and stay informed about the latest industry trends and company developments.

- **Customer Follow-Up:** Initiate proactive follow-ups with customers post-service interaction to ensure satisfaction and retention.

### Requirements:

**Experience & Education:**
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer support or customer service role, preferably within the insurance industry.
- A relevant degree or certification in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is desirable.

**Personality Traits:**
- Hardworking and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
- Energetic and positive attitude, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Soft Skills:**
- Exceptional cooperation skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in customer interactions and documentation.

**Technical Skills:**
- Proficient in using customer support software and tools (e.g., CRM systems).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software.
