The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative based at our Cairns branch to assist to both internal and external customers with all queries regarding parts sales, orders and deliveries, ensuring the Parts department meets the operational standards and contributes to the overall profitability of the Branch.
Key Responsibilities: Performing weekly checks of outstanding customer orders to ensure that all backorders will be supplied within the shortest possible lead time.Proactively offer suggestions/new ideas to maximise efficiency or better cost controls.Have a strong understanding of the company procurement system, understand the levels of purchasing authority and comply within these guidelines.Understand the company credit control policy and always complies within its guidelines.Have a strong knowledge of organisational policies and procedures, health and safety regulationsCompleting warehouse duties on occasions to offer a more superior customer service.Establishing and maintain channels of communication with all internal frequent contactsProvide regular-proactive feedback to clients through back order reports and advise of delivery status proactively.Participate in efficient and evolving work practices to improve the efficiency and profitability of then parts departments.Promoting the company and its products positively.Promoting and follow quality assurance type processes, identify and report quality problems and suggest remedies.Attend offsite meetings with customers as a KAL representative if required.Provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally by ensuring all Customer parts orders are processed in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service using Komatsu's Customer Support Charter as the guiding principles for all business interactions.Assisting other employees including, Supervisors and Management on Parts related technical, logistical and procedural inquires where required.Being an active member of the team to refine processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of the day to day running of the Department.Role Located:Cairns Komatsu Benefits: Families Policy: 16 weeks of paid primary carer parental leave, 4 weeks of secondary carer leave, plus many more family friendly benefitsFinancial:Company funded Income Protection InsuranceCareer:Recognition, awards, flexibility, further education studies and internal career developmentHealth:Corporate discount with Bupa, Total Wellbeing Solution with Telus HealthTravel:Discounts with Avis, Qantas, Crown, IHG and travel agentsYearly Bonus: Potential to receive a yearly bonusReferral Program: $3000 referral payment for referring a successful new employee to KomatsuWhat we are looking for: Current Manual Drivers Licence (Required)Forklift license would be advantageousParts interpreting experience in a high-volume, fast paced environmentWell-developed numeracy, written and oral communication skills.Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 knowledge not required, but highly regarded.Sound working knowledge of earth moving equipment and strong mechanical aptitude.Trade qualification/s will be highly regarded.Strong problem-solving skills & with an attention to detail Ability to prioritise competing work tasks.Comprehensive understanding of parts sales & supply chainExperience in inventory control and warehouse systemsAbility to communicate with customers at all levels while providing a professional service.Intermediate computer skills specifically Microsoft suiteAbility to identify & upsell or escalate addition parts, service & sales opportunities where required.Ready to get started?
