About UsHitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.The OpportunityHCA's Canberra branch has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated sales professional to join the team in the position of a Customer Support Representative for our Canberra and Riverina region. This role will have you selling market leading products and service across the range of Hitachi and Bell products.Your responsibilities will include:Establishing and maintaining successful working relationships with customersVisit customer sites and conduct machine inspection to determine suitable rectification to customer issuesPromotion of the Hitachi range of parts and service to achieve budgeted sales targetsIdentify areas for business growth and develop suitable strategies to generate grow parts and service salesAccurate and timely reporting of key customer information Ensuring that all interactions with customers and internal stakeholders are conducted professionally and all requests followed up as required BenefitsA rewarding Base Salary + Super + Commission Structure + Fully Maintained Company CarTools of the trade including your own laptop and mobileExclusive access to retail discounts and wellbeing through our employee benefits program.Supportive management who value your input in finding new and improved ways to achieving successContinuous training and upskilling with access to the latest technologiesBe a part of a leading OEM which genuinely values and ensures you are happy and safe at work!Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will need:Demonstrated service sales or parts interpreting experience within the Mining, Construction or Earthmoving industry will be advantageousGenuine desire to deliver Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction as you develop and maintain positive relationships with customersA motivated and ambitious commitment to meet and exceed sales targetsStrategic and Analytical capability to assess value, including the use of CRMConfident, courteous and professional communication and presentation skillsSelf-motivated and the ability to work autonomously and a current driver's licenseHere at Hitachi, we believe that success comes from the partnership of our market-leading products and the quality of our people.
