Job Description:
GrainCorp is currently seeking a part-time Customer Support Officer to join our team in Sydney, New South Wales. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with at least one year of experience and a driven, resilient personality. The successful candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner
- Resolve customer issues and complaints with empathy and efficiency
- Process orders, returns, and refunds accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and improve overall customer experience
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to team initiatives
- Meet or exceed key performance indicators related to customer satisfaction and service levels
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
