Randstad is partnering with a local government client to recruit a dedicated Customer Service/Business Support Officer for a 3-month contract, 32 hours per week, in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.About the Role: Are you passionate about customer service and business management?Join us to contribute to the high-quality operations.This role involves general office administration, providing excellent customer service, and supporting both members and internal teams efficiently.Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service to members and internal customers.Handle general office administration tasks to support managers and the team.Maintain the membership lifecycle of members.Manage meeting room bookings and assist in event management.Ensure meeting rooms, reception areas, and the kitchen are tidy and professionally presented.Perform tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning, and ensuring all areas are maintained.Implement opening and closing procedures when rostered.Troubleshoot computer and technological equipment issues.Assist with membership administration using dedicated software programs.Cover reception duties, including answering phones and managing email correspondence.Handle various enquiries and ensure the security of the building in liaison with relevant officers.Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role mandatory; council experience is highly desirable.Must have full work rights in Australia.Must be double vaccinated for COVID-19.WWCC required A nationally recognised Certificate in Customer Service, Call Centre, Administration, or related field is desirable.ASAP start If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply now!At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.We actively encourage applications from any background.
