About the opportunity As a Customer Support Officer, you will support the business objectives of the Bank in the management of delinquent loans, credit cards, business and savings accounts. You will work with our customers experiencing financial difficulty by making appropriate arrangements that assist them to manage their obligations and protect the Bank's security position by providing effective, pro-active and low-cost solutions while ensuring a high standard of customer service.
While this role is rewarding and dynamic, it can be challenging so comprehensive training is provided by our experienced and enthusiastic team members and leaders. Training is continuous due to the ever-evolving needs of our business. We want you to succeed and will back you every step of the way! We have multiple Customer Support Officer opportunities based either at our Adelaide or Bendigo Corporate Office. We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement, but during your training period, you will be required to attend the office 5 days per week. Please note we are looking to start our next intake Tuesday 28th January 2025. About you What sets you apart is your passion for delivering great customer outcomes. You will be comfortable talking to people in a wide range of situations and be able to use your strong negotiation and listening skills to guide customers to the most appropriate outcome. This role is ideally suited to people looking for a career in Risk Management.
Previous Collections experience is advantageous but not essential; however, demonstrated experience in a customer service-based role is a must-have.
