WesTrac are currently looking for a Customer Support Manager (Perth Based) to join our Mining Sales team.
Reporting to the Mining Business Manager, this individual will be responsible for the effective day-to-day account management of customers, ensuring the execution of the Mining Sales Strategy to maximise sales and service growth. The role is also accountable for after sales product support and strategic planning to support fleet performance and deliver the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the customer group.
The ideal applicant will possess exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, sound business acumen and demonstrated influencing abilities. Our mining department are an integral link to our customers and to achieve our vision of being the customer's first choice in equipment solutions we are searching for passionate, high performing and driven people.
This is a full-time position 5/2 8.5hrs based at our head office in South Guildford however flexibility to travel to site as necessary is required.
Key Focus Areas: Live the values, leading by example everyday through actions and behaviors. Work proactively with the customer to identify aftermarket sales opportunities and provide offerings / solutions to meet customer needs. Contribute to the development and execution of the aftermarket sales strategy. Proactively managing fleet performance and continuous improvement to drive TCO. Proposal preparation and delivery. Facilitate commercial negotiations for aftermarket supply and services. Strategic planning, forecasting and inventory management activities. Maintain and use data in CRM and AMT to manage aftermarket sales opportunities from lead to closure of opportunity. Continuous improvement projects to support site performance improvements. Product support and product problem management. Develop and maintain effective relationships and influence with site management, maintenance, planning and reliability teams. To be successful the following is required: Tertiary qualification or relative trade experience. Commercial and Business acumen. Proven communication, relationship development & negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders. Self-motivated individual that can demonstrate the ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously. Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines. High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow through with required actions.
