- **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions in our CRM system, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- **Product Knowledge:** Stay updated on Erie Insurance's products, services, and promotions to deliver informed assistance to customers.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, including claims and underwriting, to resolve customer concerns efficiently.
- **Feedback Loop:** Actively gather customer feedback and relay information to the management team to improve service processes and product offerings.
- **Sales Support:** Assist in identifying sales opportunities and upselling services during customer interactions when appropriate.
- **Training Participation:** Engage in ongoing training and development programs to enhance customer service skills and knowledge of insurance products.
- **Adherence to Policies:** Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to customer interactions and data handling.
**Requirements:**
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in customer service is a plus.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- **Personality Traits:** A passionate attitude towards customer service and a hardworking mindset, willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Soft Skills:** Strong persuasion skills, enabling effective communication and negotiation with customers, alongside excellent time management abilities to handle multiple inquiries and tasks efficiently.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in using customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Availability:** Must be flexible to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
