We are looking for a Customer Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Customer Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in responding to customer inquiries and helping them navigate our products and services while ensuring complete satisfaction throughout their experience with us.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide prompt and professional responses to customer queries via phone, email, and live chat, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting issues related to products and services, offering clear guidance and innovative solutions.
- Document and escalate complex customer concerns to the appropriate departments effectively while maintaining detailed records of customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies to improve customer service processes and enhance the customer experience.
- Engage in continuous personal and professional development to stay knowledgeable about Owens & Minor products, services, and industry standards.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to share insights, present challenges, and collaborate on best practices.
- Support the sales team by providing customers with accurate product information, including pricing, availability, and promotional offers.
- Follow established policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards within the customer support process.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance support services and customer interaction protocols.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in customer service or related fields are a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in using customer support software, CRM systems, and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Demonstrated reliability and resourcefulness, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for customer service and an ability to build rapport with clients.
- Basic familiarity with the healthcare industry is advantageous but not essential.
