Engage local customers, communities, and stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs. Support our business in decision making that affects our customers and communities. Contribute to AusNet's on-the-ground presence during incidents. With a hybrid working arrangement, this role is part of the Customer & Community Engagement team and covers the East Region. This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Supporting the Customer & Community Engagement team advocate for best practice community engagement within AusNet. Providing customer-focused network support for planned and unplanned works, working with key teams to facilitate frontline contact and positive customer outcomes. Identifying trends for business improvement and leading the uplift of activities (as required). Supporting the Major Customer Engagement Program by providing data, support, and presence (as required) to the team. Managing inbound council, MP, and complex customer enquiries. Supporting the team on broader initiatives and programs (as required). Inputting into reports, evaluation, and analysis of community engagement in partnership with team members. Accessing a range of bespoke systems to retrieve customer data to support communication and engagement activities. Working with the team and others within the organisation to identify and build positive working relationships with key stakeholders and customer segments. You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Strong experience in the energy industry (particularly distribution). Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, prepare responses/narratives quickly, and use personal initiative. Strong interpersonal and networking skills that utilize emotional intelligence. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Familiarity with using various energy-sector CRMs and systems as well as interpreting data. High degree of accuracy in executing work.
