Customer Service/ Telesales Officer

An opportunity exists for an adaptable team player to join our Customer Service/ Telesales team at our foodservice branch located in Armidale.  This can be a part-time or full-time opportunity depending on what suits the right applicant.
About the Role: Reporting to the Sales Manager this position is responsible for providing over the phone customer service and provide a high level of customer service to external customers in addition to performing other administrative tasks, reports and quality assurance tasks and audits. 
Duties: Respond to customer queries via telephone, in person and by email in a professional and timely manner Liaise with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure accuracy of supplier invoices, orders, resolve issues and provide information as requestedCarry out Counter sales efficiently with a focus on excellent customer serviceFacilitate smooth processing of sales enquiries and customer orders and quotes Provide general administrative tasks with an emphasis on accuracy as requiredConduct internal audits of the Quality and HACCP based food systemSkills and Experience: Confident phone manner and excellent communication skillsSuperior customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationshipsMust be able to sell over the phone and hit sales targetsMust be customer focussed to help grow the businessAction customer queries appropriately and in a timely mannerStrong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi taskAble to work as part of a team and autonomouslyExcellent computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systemsSales experience and an understanding of the foodservice industry or an allied industry would be an advantage.
