About the role An opportunity exists for a customer service team member to join the Business Service Centre on a Permanent Part Time basis, you will ideally have experience in the healthcare environment in a customer facing reception/administration role.
Eastern Health provides the largest range of public healthcare services for the communities of Melbourne's east and outer east.
This role is predominately for overnight shifts at Maroondah Hospital Reception as below: Week 1 & 3 Tuesday: 2300-0700 Wednesday: 2300 - 0700 Saturday: 2300 - 0700 Sunday: 2300-0700 Week 2 & 4 Tuesday: 2300 - 0700 Sunday: 2300-0700 Eastern Health operates from many different locations, our largest sites include Angliss Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Healesville and District Hospital, Maroondah Hospital, Peter James Centre, Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre, Wantirna Health, Yarra Ranges Health, Yarra Valley Community Health.
The Business Service Centre provides 24/7 face to face, telephone, and email customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
As the first point of contact for both Box Hill Hospital and Maroondah Hospitals the Business Service Centre team maintain a welcoming and friendly presence at the Main Reception desk for visitors and patients utilising Eastern Health's services.
The Business Service Centre is responsible for many key systems and processes across the health service, providing a help desk function for staff and patients.
You will be working with a friendly and supportive team to provide exceptional customer service, respond to various requests or system faults and complete day to day administrative tasks.
About you? To be successful in this role you will possess: Exceptional customer service skills and previous experience in a customer service role An interest in healthcare, previous experience in the health environment would be advantageous but not essential A team focus with the ability to work well as part of a diverse team Strong computer skills An eagerness to learn and develop your skills Flexibility to work additional hours would be beneficial Excellent communication and organisational skills Extremely reliable with a strong work ethic? Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.
An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
