Introduction
We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist – Expediting Administrator to join our team on a 6-month basis.
The Expediting Administrator will direct, coordinate and maintain the effectiveness of all expediting functions and services.
The aim is to improve On Time Delivery in aftermarket sales Australia East by monitoring timely delivery of materials as confirmed by the first promised date, and to manage all personnel activities in support of these operations.
This position can be located from Brisbane, Sydney, Tomago or Adelaide (east coast).
In this position, you will report to the Manager Customer Service, Australia East.

You will join a team of Customer Service (CS) experts, who are passionate about providing the best service possible.
We work closely with our colleagues and our internal stakeholders.
The members in our team are located across the East Coast.
What you'll do
• Engage with local and global Operations teams to proactively prevent operational delays, resolve issues, and drive outstanding customer experience.
Ensure commercial outcomes through backlog management for the life cycle of sales orders;
• Run and manage the weekly backlog report, focusing on: Late lines and Polluted lines, Critical lines expediting through local and global operations purchasing teams as required;
• Raising Activities in Salesforce to the relevant Operational team for action to update/amend purchase order dates;
• Undertake ongoing necessary training with internal and external resources to maintain relevant technical knowledge;
• Key subject matter expert in regard to the order expediting process;
• Follow up and confirm in SAP variations to FPD (First Promised Date) and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
Who you are
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role;
• Proven to have outstanding communication with a 'Customer First' approach;
• Strong time management and organisational skills;
• High level of demonstrated computer skills and ability to learn others quickly - Proficient in Microsoft Office (primarily MS Excel), Power BI, SAP PMM and SAP S4 Hanna and Salesforce;
• High level of demonstrated written and verbal communications skills;
• Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with many different teams;
• Proven problem-solving skills;
• Highly regarded software experience: SAP systems, Power BI.
