An exciting opportunity is available in the role of Sales Support for Spare Parts to join our Gas Services business, based at our offices in Bayswater, Victoria.
How You'll Make an ImpactIdentification and interpretation of all parts enquiries for high speed rotating machinery such as steam turbines, gas turbines, and turbo-compressors.Work with the global factories in establishing the scope of spares to be recommended to customer and prepare the customer offer.You will assist Sales Engineers to maximise spare part sales opportunities;Support Sales Engineers and Contract Managers with contract spare part list updating, and clarification in a timely manner.Provide spares support for customer urgent shutdowns, react promptly and professionally to urgent requests for information on spares and for driving improvements in quick response situations.Work with the global factories in putting together spare part offers to customers.Managing the delivery of customer spare part orders.To ensure business processes and compliance requirements are implemented and strictly adhered to.Be aware of the organisation's safety and security procedures, ensuring they are always adhered to at all times.Work as part of the team to develop and implement with the goals of efficiency improvement and cycle time reduction, via digitalisation.What You BringPrevious experience gained within a procurement, tendering and/or order management role.Previous experience on rotating equipment, this could be practical experience, a trade, or through an Engineering Degree qualification is beneficial however not mandatory.You will also have experience working with digital systems including Excel, Word, and SAP as well as experience in the import/export of goods.Commercial awareness, problem solving and creative thinking with quality and efficiency is a requirement together with excellent communication skills.You must be able to work as a team member and have a strong awareness of different cultures and customs.Aware of the organisation's safety and security procedures, ensuring they are always adhered to at all times.Work as part of the team to develop and implement with the goals of efficiency improvement and cycle time reduction, via digitalisation.Who is Siemens Energy?
