Our client is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join their team in Melbourne CBD for a 6 month contract. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference, providing support and assistance to both employers and employees within the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling enquiries, reconciling accounts, and processing claims in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in assisting members with their enquiries. You will manage employer accounts, ensuring information is entered accurately into the system. Your responsibilities will also include reconciling monthly contribution returns and assessing member severance claims. You will ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, always maintaining a high level of customer service. In addition to these key responsibilities, you may also be required to undertake additional duties or special projects as directed.
Handle incoming requests from workers and employers in an accurate, timely and professional mannerManage employer accounts, including opening and closing accounts as requiredReconcile and accurately process monthly contribution returnsAssess and process member severance claimsEnsure compliance with all policies and procedures at all timesUndertake additional duties and special projects as required or directedWhat you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Representative role will bring a range of skills and experiences. A business or accounting qualification would be advantageous, as would experience working in a call centre or member-based organisation. You should have strong numeracy skills, intermediate computer skills, and the ability to draft correspondence. Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as you will be responsible for managing accounts and processing claims. Above all, you should have a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Business/accounting certificate/qualification would be advantageousNumeracy skills equivalent to year 11 or 12 level mathsExperience working in a call centre, service industry or member-based organisation would be beneficialIntermediate computer and keyboard skillsAbility to draft correspondenceHigh attention to detailWhat sets this company apart:
