You'll collaborate closely with customer service, retail, distribution, and sales teams to manage medal mounting, restoration jobs, and customer inquiries with the highest level of care and precision. Free parking. 50% discount on products across our shops. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the medal department under the guidance of the Medal Manager. Support the Medal Manager in coordinating with customer service, retail, and distribution departments to ensure timely processing and delivery of orders. Help in handling customer inquiries related to medals, providing accurate information and assistance. Collaborate with the medals team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. Continuously expand your knowledge on the order of wear for various Australian Honours and Awards, as well as state-based and international awards, under the mentorship of the Medal Manager. What You'll Need: Experience: 1-2+ years of experience in a customer service role. Familiarity with Australian Honours and Awards is desirable, with the opportunity for further training. Experience dealing with inbound customer service inquiries is advantageous. Background or interest in Defence, Emergency Services, or Police is highly regarded. Skills and Attributes: Advanced Excel skills, able to leverage complex functions for data analysis and reporting. Proficient in IT systems, comfortable using a variety of software and platforms to enhance work efficiency and team collaboration. Excellent communication skills to support teamwork and customer interactions. Effective coordination skills to assist the Medal Manager in managing orders and departmental tasks. Strong organizational skills to help maintain smooth department operations. Ability to work effectively under pressure, especially during peak periods like Anzac Day and Remembrance Day. Position Information: Full-time, salaried position located in Fyshwick, ACT. Working hours: 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Reports directly to the Medal Manager.
