Provide broad administrative functions to the Community Fire Safety directorate, including ordering supplies, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and other administrative matters.Pre-Employment ChecksThe Head of the State Service has determined that a person nominated for appointment to this position must satisfy a pre-employment check.
Relevant serious criminal offences or repeated serious offences may provide grounds for declining an application for appointment.
Such offences include, but are not limited to:Arson and fire settingSexual offencesDishonesty (e.g., theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud)Deception (e.g., obtaining an advantage by deception)Violent crimes and crimes against the personMalicious damage and destruction to propertyKnowledge and experience consistent with qualifications recognised at Certificate III and IV or equivalent level.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
