About the opportunity: Based at Wonthaggi Permanent Full Time Position Generous salary package including 13.5% Super A close-knit team and an inclusive culture Personal and professional development opportunities This is a key role in which you will help to drive sales of concrete by taking customer orders and achieving accurate data entry into the Command system whilst ensuring customers receive a positive customer experience at all times. You will effectively manage the fleet within the geographical area - ensuring cost effective allocation of resources and efficient distribution to meet customer needs. You will also provide a support role to the Production Supervisors and the Area Operations Manager – assisting them to achieve Concrete Distribution and Customer Charter objectives by leading the despatch team.
Further, detailed responsibilities are found in the Position description which is available upon request and will include monitoring effective bookings and allocation of the fleet by the team to ensure high levels of customer service are achieved while gaining best cost efficiency.
About you: A punctual, positive, and efficient individual Experience in administration support Experience in the logistics / transport industry is preferred Understanding of the Construction / Concrete industry (preferred) A genuine committed team player Possess the ability to work supervised and autonomously Display effective communication skills across the board Adapt efficiently and effectively when workload fluctuates, while also maintaining attention to detail. Proactive in your approach to safety Strong commercial acumen and decision-making ability The skills to manage your time and plan effectively High attention to detail with exceptional written and oral skills High level proficiency in MS Office, Google & SAP beneficial Well-developed interpersonal skills Confident dealing with a range of people at different levels both internally and externally You will need a proactive attitude, a willingness to learn and a dedication to providing the highest standards of customer service.
