Customer Service Officer - Overflow CampingThere is an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer - Overflow Camp. This role is to assist in the operation of the Esperance Sporting Grounds Camping Overflow Area and Services. Provide a high standard of customer service whilst ensuring users of the facility abide by the camping ground rules.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist the Stadium Officer to manage users within the Greater Sports Ground Complex including the Esperance Indoor Stadium, Noel White Pavilion and Graham MacKenzie Stadium.Assist in the training of new Customer Service Officers as directed by the Overflow Camp Officer.This position requires the employee to be capable of completing a range of duties on a regular basis, such as: setting up for the day, rubbish collection and removal, cleaning duties including sanitisation, ground checks, providing information about Esperance to campers, money handling, and identifying risks.This is a casual position, starting in December 2024 to approximately February 2025.About youIn order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:Well-developed public relations and interpersonal skills.Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.Previous experience in a service environment or similar role, involving a high level of exposure to the general public.Compensation: $33.75 per hour.Applications close on Sunday the 24th of November 2024.Early applications are encouraged, as the Shire of Esperance reserves the right to close the acceptance of applications before the closing date.
