About the opportunity We have 5 new on-call casual positions available for experienced Customer Service Officers to join the Community Law Enforcement and Waste section.
In this role, you will provide a high level of customer service to customers requiring information concerning the Council's waste services and Food Organics and Garden Organics.
You will be providing support to customers over the phone within the call centre and in person at the customer service counter.
Council's hours of operation are 8.00 am - 4.30 pm, Monday - Friday.
Weekly shifts and start and finish times will vary in accordance with our business needs.
Qualifications and experience Relevant qualifications in an appropriate field and/or relevant experienceA minimum of twelve (12) months' work experience in a similar roleCustomer service experience in either telephone, email or face to face enquiriesExperience in computer applicationsAvailability to work flexible working hoursAbility to work in a team environmentDemonstrated commitment to customer service.Previous experience in Local Government.Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.
Entry level for this position starts at $36.3203 per hour, plus 25% casual loading.
