Customer Service Officer (Mackay)

About Legal Aid QueenslandOur customer service officers are the first point of contact for people visiting our 14 offices around the state and play an important role in providing services to our clients.
In this diverse and challenging role, you will respond to telephone inquiries, provide clients with legal information and help them complete application forms.
You will also be responsible for a range of administrative tasks including data entry, word processing, mail, and records management.This role is temporary full time until 28 February 2025 with the possibility of extension.
What you will doAct as the first point of contact at the front counter, schedule appointments, provide legal information, referral advice and assist clientsRespond to enquiries received on the telephoneAnalyse, assess and process applications for legal aidEnsure publications in the reception area are available and currentAbout you:The successful candidate will have:
