Customer Service Officer

This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.We have an amazing opportunity for Customer Service Officers with good administration skills to join one of our clients in the State Government office based in Morwell.38 hours per week, from Monday - Friday (full time hours) starting on 04/11/2024 - 31/01/2025.Hourly rate is between $38 - $39 per hour plus super.This role is fully based in the office.Must be available for full-time hours, Monday to Friday. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are passionate about helping others and have a good attention to detail. Please note you must be able to pass a Police Check or have a valid Police check (6 months validity).Responsibilities:Provide high quality service to customers.Assess customer enquiries for rebates and make decisions from a range of established policies and procedures, legislation and regulations specific to the role.Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of rebate related information.Review and accurately process basic manual exceptions.Undertake a range of administrative functions supporting customer enquiries.Keep accurate and complete records.Various administrative duties to support the delivery of customer service.Other ad hoc administrative duties as required.About You:Previous experience in customer service would be advantageous.Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.Good communication skills (both spoken and written).Carries out assigned duties under general direction.The ability to communicate, written and verbally, clearly, and effectively with all levels of internal staff and external clients.Must have good administration, strong data processing and customer service skills.Requirements:Proven administration or customer service skills preferred but client will consider candidates from retail or hospitality sectors if you have good computer skills and communication skills.Have a POLICE CHECK within the last 6 months or be able to pass a police check organised.
