ADD VALUE - THE ROLE We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to engage with and meet the requirements of customers and tourists both from Council's Administration Centre and our Visitor Information Centre.
To be successful in this role you must have: Demonstrated ability to deliver a positive customer experience with a can-do attitude and an eye for detail.
A passion for delivering projects and programs to enhance visitor / tourism experiences throughout Singleton.
Be an integral part of our dynamic Customer Service Team and contribute to relationship building with local tourism operators and community members.
Demonstrated ability to effectively utilise a number of computer application programs such as the Microsoft Office Suite of Applications and corporate system databases.
Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Exceptional organisation and time management skills and an ability to work well under pressure.
Previous experience in Local Government or a relevant qualification in customer service or a related field would be an advantage.
This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 35 hours per week on a 7-day rotating dayshift roster.
Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 7 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $63,955 - $71,941 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation.
