Customer Service Officer, Gatehouse Sexual Assault ServiceFriendly and supportive team environmentWork for Australia's leading Children's HospitalAbout the RoleThis is a Permanent Full-Time position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Gatehouse Sexual Assault Service at The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH), Parkville.
You will be responsible for performing a broad range of administrative and customer focused duties, involving a high level of interaction with children, young people and their families and various staff at the RCH. You will be part of a team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of Gatehouse reception and appointment booking system including all duties and responsibilities required across these functions. You will provide general administrative support to clinicians, managers and other staff within Gatehouse.
What you'll achieve:Successfully manage Gatehouse reception desk as per local proceduresInteract positively with children, young people, families and RCH staff and clinicians.Ensure the integrity of Gatehouse data records through the specific tasks of inputting, filing and monitoringClassification for this position will range from Managers and Administrators Grade 1, Year 1-5 Classification: AO10-AO12 ($58,442.8-64,610 Base Salary plus superannuation plus salary packaging).
Your skills and experience:Previous telephone reception or call centre experience.Demonstrated experience in using various computer applications and competent in Microsoft Office suite.Previous experience working with databases and health record management and booking systems is desirable.Other requirements:Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtainValid Working with Children CheckCompliance with RCH's "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedureApplication processTo apply, you will need a resume and a tailored cover letter outlining your skills, experience, and suitability for the position in line with the requirements of the position description.
