About the Opportunity We're looking for a friendly, organised, and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to be the first point of contact for our customers. Reporting to the Senior Customer Service Officer, your role will involve responding to inquiries, supporting families with enrolments, navigating and investigating requirements related to the Child Care Subsidy and family assistance law, while supporting Coordinators to confidently manage our CCMS and ensure accurate processes are being used.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our families feel welcome and supported, and you'll help us maintain the high standards that make SCECS a trusted name in early childhood care.
What You'll Be Doing Providing exceptional customer service via phone and email.Supporting service staff to confidently manage our CCMS and ensure accurate processes are being used.Delivering efficient and effective administrative support to the SCECS teams.Collaborating with colleagues to provide seamless service to families and staff.What We're Looking For We're after someone who thrives on helping others, stays calm under pressure, and loves a bit of problem-solving. Essential Skills and Experience: Hands-on experience with Xap Childcare Management System (bookings,
payments/billing, childcare subsidy submissions & family assistance law).A solid understanding of the Child Care Subsidy process.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence with Google applications.Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and friendly telephone manner.Work independently to manage and prioritise day-to-day tasks.Take initiative in solving problems.Collaborate effectively with team members when necessary, while also managing individual responsibilities autonomously.Demonstrate a proactive attitude in seeking out opportunities for improvement and growth.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and problem-solve independently.Desirable Skills and Experience: Experience working in the early childhood education sector or a willingness to quickly learn about it.Relevant qualifications in administration or a related field.What's in It for You?
